I’ve been fond of the Allendale beers I’ve tried in the past. Let’s see if this holds up…
Wayfarer has a lovely, hoppy aroma, so, fingers crossed this is one of those pales that really hits the mark.
Oh, yes. This is lovely and smooth, very little bitterness, if at all.
It’s fruity, hoppy and just right in terms of strength of flavour.
We’re talking a lovely beer that is eminently drinkable and just a really enjoyable thirst quencher.
Where in the North?
Allendale, in Northumberland, is a twice winner of village of the year for all England.
Although small, it can throw a party.
The most famous of Allendale’s parties is the Tar Bar’l, after which a very nice beer has been names.
